Especially for the FIS World Cup GRAND FINALS 2008, the Organising Committee has prepared a series of amazing opportunities so you can experience all the excitement and fun that sport has to offer during your stay in Alta Valtellina.

BORMIO - starting at 2:30 p.m. – A smorgasbord with live music at the Pentagono;
VALFURVA - S. Caterina, Piazza Magliaga - 6:00 p.m. – Race presentations with a parade of the ski
clubs and a chance to savour the traditional local products.

FRIDAY 14.03

in Piazza Magliaga: “When man corrects his mistakes: the project to reintroduce the Bearded Vulture to
Stelvio National Park”. Speaker: Dr. Enrico Bassi (Stelvio National Park)
VALMALENCO - starting at 6:00 p.m.
Happy hour on the streets - Ceremonial
Exhibition: Winch Snow Fighters - “Valmalenco Evening Party”
SATURDAY 15.03
BORMIO - 6:00 p.m. - FIS World Cup Globes Winners’ Ceremony at the Ski Stadium, followed
by the Match Music Globes Party at the Pentagono and the Notte Bianca.
A parade for all the fan clubs will be held from the Finish Area to the Pentagono. During
the Party, the fan club which displayed the most folklore, verve and charisma will receive an
award.
VALFURVA - 9:00 p.m. – Slide show about Stelvio National Park at the S.Antonio Auditorium:
“Tracks in the snow: The Mountain Hare in the Alps and in Stelvio National Park”.
Speaker: Dr. Elisa Masseroni (OIKOS Institute).

Exhibition: Winch Snow Fighters - Fireworks - “Live music on stage” – Final concert
Parterre entertainment:
An extensive entertainment programme has been organised for race days. Between competitions, we’ve
got lots of fun in store with the Spectator TV and live music plus DJs and VJs. A snack food service is also
available.
